OEM
DMIC will work Factory-direct with an OEM or Institutional/Government customer in certain scenarios:
- Upon request from a Distributor. In these cases the Distributor will receive mutually agreed compensation for developing the OEM business. Generally it is DMIC policy to express gratitude for the Distributor's hard work, by providing compensation for the life of the OEM opportunity or product sales cycle. DMIC will never side-step a Distributor to take an OEM direct. We never have, and we never will.
- In locales where the OEM is not served by an active DMIC Distributor
- In situations where a DMIC Distributor formally quotes the OEM a competing brand, the OEM will then be eligible to deal Factory-Direct with DMIC (please call DMIC Sales for particulars)
- In cases where a Factory-direct relationship is preexisting or has been cultivated by DMIC's sales force, or for opportunities which were developed jointly
- For high volume private label or custom product offerings, where Factory Direct development and support is required
