Requirements:

  • Locate and develop new customers through various methods. Groom and support new customers
    • Meet business objectives for new customer growth by creating business plans, executing and staying within budget/on target
  • Work with existing customers to develop new potential income streams for them or see where DMIC can displace existing product in the market
    • Meet business objectives for current customer management and growth by creating business plans, executing and staying within budget/on target
  • Must be able to work independently
  • Highly motivated, self-starter
  • Mostly domestic travel, some international travel may apply
    • Prepare agendas for customer visits, make all necessary travel arrangements and completes scheduled trips within budget
  • Contribute to the marketing campaign
  • Required skills
    • Communication (Written, Oral)
    • Good with computers
    • Highly organized
    • Fantastic multi-tasking ability

Education/experience:

  • 2 year degree from an accredited college with at least 5 years experience in technical sales. Knowledge of hydraulics, manufacturing and Fluid Power certification are all helpful
